SPICY SAUSAGE AND EGG BREAKFAST BURRITO

This Spicy Sausage & Egg Breakfast Burrito recipe is the perfect way start to your day, combining savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and velvety Queso-Melt dip. Enjoy this fulfilling breakfast to power through your day!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-2 cup Queso-Melt Dip

  • 1 pound of your favorite breakfast sausage

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup of milk

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 4 large flour tortillas

  • Optional garnishes: diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, and cilantro

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the sausage until fully browned and no longer pink. Remove the sausage with a slotted spoon and set aside on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess grease.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper. In the same skillet used for the sausage (drain excess grease but do not clean it out), pour in the egg mixture. Allow eggs to set slightly then gently stir, creating large curds. Scramble the eggs to your desired firmness.

  3. Heat your flour tortillas in the microwave covered with a damp paper towel for 20-30 seconds to make them more pliable. Warm Queso-Melt dip in a microwave until it reaches a pourable consistency.

  4. Lay out the warmed tortillas on a flat surface. Divide the scrambled eggs and sausage evenly among the tortillas. Drizzle each with a generous amount of Queso-Melt.

  5. Fold the bottom of each tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll up tightly.

  6. Drizzle Queso-Melt over top of the folded burritos, and sprinkle pepper on top. Enjoy immediately while hot!

  7. Add optional garnishes if desired.
